Saint Mark -

And they both oddly resemble this man.

Nick Burka -

San Marco, you made my day.

Mandy -

Ah, its so nice to know there are a slim few other people out there who can't stand the complaint crap this band churns out at us at an alarmingly fast past.

Now that had made my day.

TheDeuce -

On the topic of NickelBack and resemblances....

Did anyone ever notive that if you listen to Theory of a Deadman and Nickeback, they are actually the same band?

Why would anyone ever want to sound like NickelBack?

Rob Fletcher -

Unless I'm wrong, Theory of a Deadman was discovered by NickelBack. NickelBack dumped money into one of their videos, too. And that's the end of my Theory of a Deaman trivia. Sadly, I don't think they're doing as well. In September they played at Mount Allison in a gym. It didn't help that a few days after their show these kids showed up , which show would you have gone to?

Note to Nick: I live next to the Seoul House. Pop in sometime.

Peter Rukavina -

As a result of NickelBack's much discussed appearance on the Charlottetown waterfront this past July, their music osmotically entered my memory. Now I find myself walking through Zellers, or sitting at the barber, or ordering a coffee, and I hear a NickelBack song and it sounds familiar. I think "where have I heard that before?" And then I realize it was blasting up Prince St. at me in the middle of the night. I suppose that's why acts tour.

Nick Burka -

As a side note to Saint Mark's post, the 'odd resemblance' is actually well studied: "Albrecht Durer painted himself frontally with features traditionally associated with Christ" ... "whereby the individual, the reflection and image of God, discovers himself as an active subject, in a representation both historic and transfigured." (Melchoir-Bonnet, The Mirror: A History, p. 120)

I'd say your all a little weird!

jujubean -

good band.. good melody, lyrics, vocals, tight and concise.

those that don't like them must be grunge-type pearl jam, nirvana groupies... has-beens and dead guys. real musical geniuses they are (or were).

huggiebear1975 -

I personally think that Nickelback is the next evolution from grunge. If you don't like them- don't listen!

David Schontzler -

Can you actually be a good band if you recycle your own songs? I mean, c'mon now.

kevin farnsworth -

hi

kevin farnsworth -

I also like nickle back

jen -

personally i really like nickelback and if you all hate them so much then why are you wasting your time slaggin them off(over the internet i might add), i really do doubt that the band will give a shit what some insignificant people think

also get a grip whoever is posting about the music being loud, you really need to get out more

Dana (15) -

I love Nickelback and I am a fan for over a year
I know that not everbody likes the band, but that you dislike a band because the lead singer looks like man that is dead for over 300 years.
I think that that is just weird
And some people even think that he looks like Jesus.

I don't care who he looks like, I just think he is really cute and I love his voice.

I truly think that Jealousy is a big part in the comments. Just because a guy has long hair and a beard does not mean any thing. Its called "Style" and its cool. I seen plenty that has a style like that. He is a fine singer and if you don't like it don't bother. And by the way since when is Style a crime? I think it is the...
