I get generic ink from Future Shop for our little ink jet. I'm not sure if they carry the ones for your printer but the brand we use is MSE. It's about 1/2 the price and I've not noticed any difference in quality or how long it lasts.

Did I ever give you the black cartidges that I bought for your printer?

I've bought generic ink for my HP printer and was impressed. But keep in mind I use this printer to print articles, PDFs, etc. I normally print them in "draft" quality because it is just for my personal use. Not comps or something I'd present to a client.

I purchased generic ink cartridges from MeritLine.com for my Canon i950 and was not impressed with the results. My i950 with the original set of ink cartridges produced some incredible 8x10 prints... I was very satifised with the results. However the generic ink could not compare. I'll think twice in the future.

I have also found that the Canon printer actually prints best on Canon paper when combined with Canon ink... i've tried lots of different paper and I dunno what they did but I get great results using all Canon.... until I used the generic ink that is.

I'll stick with purchasing ink from the manufacturer of the printer from now on.

I use generic carts for my Canon S630 and they work fine, never had problems. I usually get them at local shops though, you should shop around a bit.

I have found 6 boxes of unused toner for an IBM machine. Would like to get rid of it. Do you know of anyone who buys back or how do I dispose of it properly? I would guess they are 5 years old. Thanks
